The first week of a new unit/ project is always one of the most important. Reason being, it's the time of the project where we can truly explore any idea's we have and decide whether we want to develop them or not.

A strong starting point is always key to any good project. Without a significant starting point, it's almost impossible to develop the idea further. The worst thing to do is to have a clear picture of your finished garment in your head. This cancels any room for improvement and ends up halting the design process.

For this project I wanted to look into different layers and weights of fabrics. I wasn't sure how I wanted to pursue this idea but Noa Raviv's A/W 2016 was a big influence.
