It's only the third week since I've joined and it's definitely hit me how quick this industry runs. Last week Manish Malhotra showed at Pune.

Forgoing the Instagram show format that has become quite the rage with Indian designers today, Malhotra decided to stay true to his characteristic opulent modus operandi, but only took it a notch higher. So what you had was a one-of-its-kind 400ft circular ramp built on the premises of Panchshil Realty’s YOO Villas in Pune, which the show was also designed to launch." (Vogue India, 2018)

The show was even live streamed on their official instagram.

"Then there were his three showstoppers ... Bollywood celebrities Aditi Rao Hydari, Radhika Apte and Nushrat Bharucha, all walking for the designer for the very first time, with Sophie Choudry belting out some tunes to start the show. "

The craziest thing is this show just came to an end, but the whole design team flew out to Singapore yesterday for their Manish Malhotra x Singapore show.

The show is going to take place tomorrow on the 25th of March. The male showstopper (Kartik Aaryan) actually came to the office yesterday (I was secretly fan girling since I love his movies).

Kartik came in for fittings, and that's when I heard that he was the showstopper. It's so fun to be on the inside because literally minutes after that meeting, the team announced the news on their instagram story.

Oh, and I just heard that theres another fashion show called "Mijwan show 2018" (This is a form of embroidery). What I still can't believe is the fact that it's only been 3 weeks and I've heard of 3 fashion shows, and it's only march!
