Sonam Kapoor ended up getting married yesterday. Now before this ends up sounding like a gossip column in some random newspaper, I'm mentioning this here because half of the guests, which are all affluent bollywood actors/ actresses wore Manish Malhotra! So I thought I'd document that here. I wasn't involved in any of the prior design process or co ordination for this wedding but it was still really exciting to go on instagram and see all the celebrities wearing clothes I sort of knew about.

For context, this is Sonam Kapoor at her Mehendi, wearing another famous designer duo: Abhu Jani and Sandeep Khosla

Now here in India, we have the engagement, the mehendi (Mehendi Ceremony generally refers to application of a henna paste in elaborate intricate designs on the bride's hands and feet) Wikipedia (n.d.), the wedding and then the final reception. I'm going to include some of my favourite looks from all of the ceremonies in no particular order.

In fact some of the garments, such as Isabelle Kaif and Varun Dhawan were from MM's latest show which was the Mijwan collection (Which I saw in person!) The rest were either custom made for them or pre-existing designs.
